Country Information
Trinidad and Tobago, is a twin island county situated off the northern edge of the South American mainland, 6.8 miles of the northeastern Venezuela and 81 miles south Grenada.
The third richest country by GDP (PPP) per capita in the Americas after the united states and Canada. It is recognized as a high-income economy by the world bank.
Travel


The main airport is Piarco International Airport, approximately 25km South east of Port of Spain and approximately 17mins away from the Centre of Excellence. Direct flights is available from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Orlando, New York (JFK) and Newark, USA; Toronto, Canada; London, UK; Caracas, Panama, Paramaribo, Porlomar Suriname, and the Caribbean.
Airlines that fly to Trinidad and Tobago include American Airline, Air Canada, British Airways, Caribbean Airlines, Continental Airlines, COPA Airlines, Conviasa, Delta Airlines, JetBlue, LIAT, Suriname Airways, United Airlines, West Jet and Virgin Atlantic.
All travelers must have a valid passport and a return ticket, for entry into Trinidad & Tobago.
Climate
Warm and sunny year round, there are two main seasons dry season (January to May) and rainy season (June-December), during the rainy season you can expect sunny mornings and early afternoon showers, nights are cool. The islands are located outside the hurricane belt with a year round temperature of 28 degrees Celsius.
Electricity
Electrical outlets supply electricity between 110/220 volts. Standard two prong plugs can be used; it is advisable to travel with an adapter. Adapters can also be purchased at local electronic stores.
Visa Requirements
Nationals of Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Canada, Dominica, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Namibia, Nauru, Pakistan, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Suriname, Swaziland, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Zambia and Zimbabwe do not require a visa for the duration of their stay.
Nationals of all European Union/European Economic Area member states which are part of the Schengen Area may enter visa-free for 90 days in any 180-day period. Nationals of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela may enter visa-free for up to 90 days.
Nationals of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines may obtain a visa waiver on arrival at a cost of TT$400.
